Using our online portal to make payments

Our online payment and self-service portal is where you can make payments in a safe and secure environment. In order to use our online portal to make a payment, you (“you”/”your” or the “customer”) must be an individual, that can enter into a legally binding contract under the laws of England and Wales. You may not make a payment and may not accept the Terms and Conditions if you are under the age of 18 or are not authorised to enter into such a contract.

About us

The on-line payment facility is offered by Phillips & Cohen Associates (UK), Ltd (“us”/”we”/”our”) a company registered in England, Registration number 05284353. Our registered office address is 9th Floor, 5 Exchange Quay, Manchester M5 3EF.
We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority for activities in relation to debt collection on accounts relating to the Consumer Credit Act.

What happens when you make a payment?

In making a payment through our online portal, you accept these Terms and Conditions which form a legally binding contract between you and us.

We accept payment by debit card and we do not accept payments by credit card. In order to make a payment to us, you must be authorised to use the debit card or have the cardholder’s expressed permission to make the payment.

All payments presented are invitations to treat and do not commit Phillips & Cohen Associates (UK), Ltd to accepting them as full and final settlement of an account. We will deduct the amount from the specified account.  This may take a few days to show on your bank statement and the transaction will show on our file usually within three business days. Your billing statement will indicate a payment to ‘PHILLIPS – COHEN’.

If a transaction is refused by your bank or card issuer

If your payment is declined for any reason, including insufficient funds, closed account, or unauthorised account, we will contact you via email or telephone. Where possible, an email will be sent to the email address that you have provided when making your first payment. This email will notify you that payment has failed. In the event that you are experiencing financial difficulties, please contact us on 0333 555 1051.
We will not levy any charges for an unsuccessful payment, however your bank or card issuer may. We will not be liable for any charges levied by your bank or card issuer for payment, or unsuccessful payment attempts that are made or attempted to be made to us.

If you wish to make a complaint

To raise any issues or concerns you may write to Phillips & Cohen Associates (UK) Ltd, 9th Floor, 5 Exchange Quay, Manchester M5 3EF quoting your File Reference Number and the details of your concerns.

Confidentiality and Data Privacy

We may share information we collect about you with external service providers. Our agreements with these service providers require that they protect your information and only use it to carry out the services they are performing for you. Unauthorised Use

If you think your account has been accessed without your permission, contact us on 0333 555 1051. We also advise you to contact your bank or card issuer.
